The Service & Your Agreement

DocuTools ("the Service") provides free browser-based tools for PDF, document, image, and resume tasks — including merging and converting PDFs, editing photos, building resumes, and signing documents. By using docutools.org, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Every tool runs locally in your browser — files are never uploaded to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details. The Service is open to users of all ages; users under 16 should have a parent or guardian's consent.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Process illegal content or use the Service for unlawful purposes
  • Create fraudulent documents, fake IDs, or forged signatures
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service
  • Introduce malware or attempt to disrupt our infrastructure

You agree TO:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Take responsibility for the content you process
  • Respect others' intellectual property rights
  • Keep backups of files before processing them

Ownership & Your Content

The DocuTools name, design, code, and branding are owned by its operator and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, redistribute, or resell the Service.

You keep full ownership of your files. We make no claim to anything you process — since it never leaves your browser, we never have access to it in the first place.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free results, or that every output will meet your expectations — always keep backups of important files.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocuTools and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to $0.

Changes to the Service & Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. If these Terms change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above — continued use means you accept the changes.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction. Disputes should first be raised with us directly so we can resolve them in good faith.
